Privacy policy

Summary

We collect as little data as we can. We do not sell anything to anyone. We do not run behavioural advertising. We do not set cookies for tracking purposes.

What we collect

Analytics: We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-respecting self-hosted service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It counts page views, referrers, and approximate country — no more.

Newsletter: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address for the sole purpose of sending you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click; your email is removed from our records when you do.

Contact form: If you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email, topic, and message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.

What we do not collect

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts. We do not fingerprint browsers. We do not build profiles. We do not share data with advertisers because we do not have advertisers.

Your rights

Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold. Contact us at privacy@thebitcointransition.org and we will respond within five working days.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and note the date of the change. Minor clarifications do not require notice.
